Show Up.
Leave a Legacy.

Every mile of trail you'll ever ride was built by someone who showed up on a Saturday morning with gloves and a shovel. Be that person.

Why Volunteer

More Than Moving Dirt

Trail work is a full-body experience - equal parts physical challenge, community building, and lasting pride in something you made with your own hands.

Access Before Anyone Else

Volunteers get first access to freshly built trail sections and exclusive preview rides before they open to the public.

Real Community

Trail days attract riders, hikers, and outdoors lovers of every kind. The lunch break alone is worth showing up for.

Learn Real Skills

IMBA-certified crew leaders teach sustainable trail building techniques you'll understand and appreciate every time you ride.

Something That Lasts

The trail bench you cut by hand this Saturday will be ridden by thousands of people for decades. That's a real legacy.

What to Expect

Your First Trail Day

No experience needed. We'll teach you everything on-site. Just show up ready to move and have a good time.

1
Sign up & get confirmation
Register through the event link. You'll get a confirmation email with the exact meeting location, what to bring, and what to wear.
2
Meet at the trailhead
Most events start early to beat the heat. Parking, coffee, and introductions happen in the first 15 minutes.
3
Learn from certified crew leaders
IMBA-trained leaders guide your team through benching, drainage, armoring, and brushing techniques throughout the day.
4
Lunch break & community time
G5 provides lunch for all volunteers. This is where the real conversations happen - and where most people decide to come back.
5
Wrap up & ride what you built
Many trail days end with a short ride on the section you just worked. There's nothing quite like it.
